After serious weight loss who can have these opations, İf you hae had a gastric band operation 1 year must past befor you can think about surgery. You must have reached your ideal weight and have stayed at this weght for at least 6 months. You mustt have anemia or any health issues that will affect your healing process and you must not be a smoker.
Wth all these operations the access skin has be removed.Due to this there will be some scaring. The scaring will depend on the amount of access skin tha will be removed.The scaring is usualy not visible and an be hidden.
These operations are performed under general anesthetic and can take upto 3 to 6 hours and depending on the surgery you have had you may be required to stay ihospital for 2 days. Depending on the surgery you have had it ca take upto 2 weeks for you to return back to work.İf you continue o loose weight after your surgery you will experince saging again. If you gain weight after your surgery your scarring will be more visable.
