Breast enlargement surgeries are one of the most frequent aesthetic surgeries that plastic surgeons often do and take great pleasure in doing. Breast Prosthesis surgery; with the advanced development of the technology used in the last 10-15 years and the quality of the silicon prostheses produced, it has become a frequently requested surgical intervention by our patients.
FDI, the official supervision agency of the US Ministry of Health, approved the use of these prostheses for aesthetic breast enlargement surgeries. In addition,there has not been any connection between the breast prostheses that is produced from a material that can remain in place for life, in other words not required to be removed afterwards and rheumatic disease, connective tissue disease and female reproductive system diseases.
When determining the size of silicone prosthesis, it is very important to maintain the balance between the appearance of the patient and the boundaries of the breast anatomy. Together with a natural look, your physicians will always be guiding you towards getting healthy breasts.
This surgery is performedunder general anaesthesia, which lasts approximately 2 hours. Silicone prostheses are inserted with an incision of 4-5 cm from the bottom of the breasts, so that the breasts own tissue is never cut and the milk ducts and glands remain intact.
Due to the operation being performed under general anaesthesia, it will be beneficial for you to stay in the hospital for one night. Specifically for the first few days, simple painkillers can be used to relieve any pain. In addition, it is normal to feel tension and tightness in the chest and breasts. Starting from the 2nd week, I will advise you to do carry out massage on the operated area that will not only rapidly reduce the tension and swelling of your breasts but would also be much better in shaping your breasts. After the operation, we would like you to use the specially constructed bra for operations that will provide support for healing as well as provide comfort.
