Face and Neck lift
The ageing of our faces begins with a loss of volume, usually at the age of 30-40. After the age of 45-50, with the thinning of the facial bones, all tissues in the face lose their support. Lines become more visible and even forms grooves on the face. The sagging tissues begin to accumulate on the sides of the nose, the side of the jaw tip and the neck. Due to sagging of the neck area, the angle under the jawline becomes fainter.

Face lift surgery; is an aesthetic operation to provide the patient with a younger look and to reduce the wrinkles and sagging of the lower half of the face and the neck region. In the face and neck liftingsurgery, it is important to raise the subcutaneous connective tissue to the higher starting point. This approach ensures that the results are both natural and permanent. The face and neck lift operation can be performed alone, as can be done at the same time with eyelid operation or middle face-lift surgery.

People who have decided to have a face-lift surgery must quit smoking at least two weeks before surgery if they are smoking. If they are taking Aspirin or other blood thinners, they will have to stop the medication a week before surgery. If hypertension is present, it must be kept under control.

The surgery is performed under general anaesthesia and lasts approximately 3-4 hours. The incites usually start from the scalp in the temporal area, following the anterior boundary of the ear, descend downward, going around the ear lobe and behind the ear where its hidden in a very good way. After the surgery, there is a one-night stay.

The light- pressured dressing to the bottom of the jaw and ear areas is removed after three days. In the first week, the daily activities are kept light and after two weeks, the patient can return to normal life.
